Can someone tell me if its worth the time effort or money to convert an existing graph I have which was a take-off from a boat I bought. I think the model is a Lowrance X-50, your basic monochrome type graph. I believe I can buy a bullet transducer for it (same one thats used for the x-68, and x-68 ice sonars) How useful would something like this be? I dont really want to shell out for a new vex or marcum since I really wont get my money’s worth since I dont fish a ton. I just figured if I could work with what I have I would invest in a transducer and battery to make this thing portable. Is this worth my time and minimal money??
