Slab Hunter and I did some fishing on Big Blake Lake on Sunday. There was approximately 6 inches of ice around the shore, and around 10 inches of ice near the middle of the lake. The ice was slushy in some spots.
We were hitting the Blue Gills pretty good (17 keepers).
Also, we saw somebody dragging their fish house behind their pickup. They were lucky the whole thing did drop through the ice.
