well i hit Bone Lake today, it was real windy out there today!!! I fished in the east bay in 21 ft. the ice was around 6 inches which is good considering that part of the lake didn’t freeze well last year. there was a l=ton of fish on the Vex but they were real picky. i tried live fatheads, jigging with a minnow head, every color in my box and manged to scrape up 5 crappies. it was tough but they were nice size, 2 around 11 inches. i guess there are gonna be days like that!!! they just didn’t want to bite i really had to work. i will be going to Linwood Lake tomorrow. good luck and be safe.
