I see you can get freshwater shrimp for ice fishing. Has anyone used them and how do you keep them alive at home?

They work great on finicky panfish. Crappies, bluegills and perch love them. Use a #12 thin wire hook with a split shot. They are easy to keep alive, just change the water once a week and keep them in the fridge.

    Where do you find them?

I have found them as several bait shops across the state. Sauk Centre is the last place I got them. They are a pain to fish with, but work sometimes. One thing I have found, is that do not work well in lakes that shrimp are the primary forage.
