Today i finally went out icefishing for the first time this year. i got out around noon and setted up all the equipment. I drilled one hole and looked on the Vexilar and seen a whole bunch of fish, so my friend tried it there for a while. i started using a tear drop jig tipped with a spike. We had many fish but most of them were very small. we caught a few keepers but it wasn’t enough for the pan. I putted down my camera and seen a whole bunch of fish taking my lure, but there were small guys. We moved to a different spot and i put down the camera and seen at least 10 big gills and a few crappies. we nailed a whole bunch of gills in that area, around 80, but only 21 gills were keepers. over all it was a good day and it’s nice to finally get my fishing rythem back.
