I finnally managed to get out on the ice again in the La Crosse area today to go after some first ice crappies. Even with a late start i still caught a few fish, i was fishing in about 12-14fow but None of them had any good size [7-9inches]. I think the end count was actually 9 total crappies and a couple of gills. I am sorry i couldnt take any pictures because i forgot the camera and i went out right after school so i had no time to stop at home. The ice was about 4-6 inches thinck so my buddy and i had no problem getting around, but All in alll it was okay day next time i just wish i could catch a few bigger ones.
