Well I guess it’s better late than never. I am planing on building a ice house, permanent style, and am looking for some input on the floor construction.
What kind of constuction works best? Do I use 2 x 6’s, 2 x 8’s? Would I go 16″ OC or 24″ OC? How about insulation, would I use foam or fiberglass or both?
Any experienced input is appreciated.
Right now I am thinking 10′ x 18′ in size.
Oh yea, and if you have any input on skids like type and where to buy them that would be good too.
