Awhile back a feller told me about this type of jig he bought down in Florida. I have never seen one in a store. Nor do I know if it is called Runningbird, Ronningbird, etc… It was some type of two piece jig that basically made a cross. The two pieces would make a slight tinging noice when jigged. This, apparently, made the fish flock to the noise and eat whatever bait was attatched to the jig. Anyone ever hear of such a thing? I’d be interested to find one and try it out.
Yes, I know this is in the ice fishing forum. Even though this guy bought it in Florida, he used it on Mille Lacs. Oh yeah, he had a sleeper at Portside. Maybe he will read this. Anyway, thanks for any help you may have.
