Central MN Destinations

I’ve dug out the portable, charged the Vex, and strung the rods. Now it just has to get cold. I’m new to this part of the state. Does anybody have ideas on places to target pike and slabs in the Willmar area? I figure Nest looks better than Green but neither are going to ice up early. What about Lake Lillian? Any help would be appreciated.

My uncle lives in Cosmose, I know he ice fishes someplace close around there. I think the lake thats West of Cosmose does well.
