    Jann’s Netcraft sells many of the components needed for ice blanks, including the handles that used to come on the St Croix Avid ice rods. They are located in Toledo, Ohio and do have a website.

    I turn my own wood handles to use with a reel seat. The solid carbon blanks are available through several websites but because this technique isn’t about sensitivity, solid fiberglass is less expensive and does just as well IMO. I designed my own version of the spring bobber apparatus and it’s worked out well.
