Otter Creek close to Tama Iowa

    We fished Otter Creek Today and Found another batch of Yellow Bass and 1 Big Catfish.

    The fish seem to bite from 3pm till dark: Pink and Orange Glow and Swedish Pimple Gold were hot. The Ice is holding at 16″, we fish straight out from the boat launch channel in 14 feet of water.

    Good going Barb. I was their on the 17th with a group from Hawgz.com for a 2 day outting. Saturday mid morning was fair then they kinda shut of. Yellow bass predominately I caught a catfish and a couple others were caught. Sunday the bite was suppose to of been much better. We had20 or so ice shelter and fished straight West across the lake off a point area. Ice was great then but this sleet, rain snow I don’t know now.
