OK So now I have my “Reel weeds” as of today. I generally fish for perch in a lake that has weeds to about 18′ to 20′ as it is rather clear. Max depth I have been fishing in the past is to about 45′. How deep would you go when setting out the Reel weeds? Is the 45′ depth too deep and would spook the fish? I will be testing soon. I hope!!

Lucky…the string on Reel Weeds is 40 feet. I don’t know if you bought the 5 pac or not..but if you did…the first thing I would try is stringing them out from the natural weeds in a “T” formation, then fish in the angles of the T.

Either way, let us know how you did!

I have been fishing 30 foot+ depths too. I have been running one on my camera cable, and one across the shack so you can see it in the background. Pretty slick deal. They really do work.
