    hey guys, i wanted to head over to medicine lake this weekend. i was wondering if anybody has been fishing there. and i was wondering how thick the ice is since it has been warming a little, just to make sure i can drive on it.

    I was out there a couple days ago.. about 20″ on the ice where I was at. I got a few pike in about 30′ of water. One on the tip up with a shiner, the others grabbed my jig… and kept it So there are a couple pike out there with bonus hardware!

    i’m looking for some panfish, just wondering if they are active over there. wanted to take the kids out.

    I think the panfish are always biting out there.. I dont target them there myself anymore. Unless someone cam chime in, I would recommend calling Harty’s and he should be able to give you some current info on the bite.(I cant believe nobody fishes Medicine here?)
