BWCA Basswood ice routes

I am looking to finally take the plunge (hopefully not) on late ice and head into Basswood before the walleye season ends on the border.

What routes do people take in? I am guessing the most comming is Moose-Wind-Wind Bay and onto the lake, but this leaves me far from the falls area up and around US point.

Any location pointers for walleyes or pike also?

Best advise I can give is wait till may and you will have much better Luck.

I will take a look at my maps and see if anything stands out!!
