Will be in Wausau this weekend was wondering about the ice-fishing in the area. I see Lake Dubay is S but might still be to far for me to go. What about Lake Wausau and Mosinee Flowage any tips?

Lake Wausau has easy access, lots of shacks out and pretty good fishing….. a lot of guys fish near Mosinee on Half Moon Lake which is also part of the Wis River flowage. Western Marathon Co, Big eau Plane flowage is popular too. I’ll check around at work tomorrow and see who is catching what and where. I was waiting for thick ice and now it’s been too damn cold for me to go out
