Cold day…. Great fish!

    It was freezing out today, im just happy we had a shanty with. I was out in neshonoc with a friend and we had a great day. So i caught 15 crappies and 1 gill and my friend outfished me and caught 19 crappies and 1 pike. There were a few crappies with decent size. And my friends pike was 28 inches on shiner. I caught the crappies on a chartruce jig with a crappie minnow, and some on a northland spinner with a crappie minnow on it. So all in all it was a good day.

    sounds like a fun day of fishing i have the shack but no heater so i opted not to walk out my back door and fish today haha..glad you roughed out this cold weather and got some fish, nice job

    There is going to be plenty of work to do on Neshonoc Saturday Feb. 10th. We are moving the cribs out from the landing. Anyone who enjoys fishing this lake and wants to give back to it is more than welcome to help out
