    Just got back from Rainy lake. Never ice fished before so had no idea what to expect. Fished sand bay and caught 25-35 walleyes per day almost all were very small, 12.5″ or less. Caught several in the protected slot including a 25″. Also caught half dozen perch, several tulibees, and northerns per day. Missed 2/3 of my hits. Will be going back up next week with a four wheeler to do more exploring.For the first time ice fishing i was really pleased.

    Hey, sounds great Paul. Not bad for a first timer….and it will only get better when you can start connecting on the other 2/3.
