I dont like to get too spot specific, dont take this info on the only spots to fish on the lake, they are however a place to start.. these are only some of the more popular spots.

For some crappie action, just east of the pavillion before the beach on the weedy flat, 8′-12′ of water is a well known area for crappies. In front on the rose gardens on the flat in the same depths can be good, however, most the crappies are small.

For wallyes you are really better off searching on your own. A couple popular areas include the east side point(refer to a map), the west side bar near the culvert, by the end of the sailboat area, in front of the SE beach, or along the weed edges on the south side of the lake. Start closer to the weeds, and work your way out if its not producing. The perch will terrorize any bait until sunset, don expect much for walleye action until the light is dimnishing.

There are endless decent fishing areas on Harriet, you dont have to follow the crowd to catch fish. Fishing the edge of a weedline just about anywhere will produce fish, areas with a slower drop off(larger shallow flat) will hold more panfish. The further you get away from the popular areas, the better your chances at larger panfish.

    Good Luck.
