My dad gave a buddy of mine an older jiffy ice auger. It is the one handle wrist buster style. Anyways neither of us can remember what the gas to oil ratio mix is? Anyone know off hand what it is? Thanks WTA

not sure how far back this ratio goes, but my jiffy is about 6-7 years old and i just run a 24:1 ratio, which is also printed to run that ratio on a sticker on the fuel tank.

I’m sure Jiffy could answer you question, meanwhile I’d feel safe running 24:1. Make sure and let it warm up 2-3 minutes.

You can’t really run too much oil in any two stroke, (atleast not if you aren’t fouling plugs), otherwise a smokin’ 2 stroke is a happy 2 stroke.

(I’d probably run it 50:1 if it were mine, oil has come a long, long ways in 20 years, but I also run amsoil synthetic in mine, and lots of people running amsoil are running 100:1, I can burn a little extra for peace of mind)

I had a Jiffy made in 1985 and it used 24:1.
