Well I was supposed to head to Osakis for on overnight fish trip with a few buds but a call in to work ended that..So after work several friends and I headed out to Grand Lake in Stearns Co. The temp on the truck said 2 degrees and the wind made it -29 brrrr..Once the Scamp camper/fish house was set up we were nice and warm…several people who came with had flip overs and had to tie them to their truck so they wouldnt blow away…We set up several tip-ups for the Pike and they kept us running all evening and night…they were biting very good…In the house we were jigging for Crappie and only got about 6 but we were hitting the Sunfish very well…once the sun went down the Marcum was showin fish almost nonstop…so it ended up being a good night out with BBQ on the grill at about 6:00 and man that was cold flippin the burgers..sounds like tonight isnt going to be any warmer…Good fishin all….Jay

Grand can be a very nice lake to fish.
