I spent the day on the ice with my brother and his buddies yesterday. They were going to take me to a secret spot, and they wouldn’t tell me the location. The only details were to be at Forest Lake Gander at 6:30 A.M. We then stop and get minnows in Harris and start heading east until we run into guess where? You got it Millacs. We went out of Macs, Ice was good and seemed very good we had around 18 inches where ever we went. We headed out to the gravel but we were shut down by a big break before the bridge. I was able to use my ATV ramps to get across but I didn’t feel very corfortable doing that. When we got on the secret spot we got 2 jumbo perch and a small walleye with a couple of missed fish at the hole and some finicky tip ups. We then moved to Banana reef and caught alot of perch that were just a little too small. All in all it was great to be on the water.
