I found some small red treble hooks the other day and thought they’d look great on a Little Cecil or Rocker Roo. I hope to try them out this weekend. Here’s a pic.

Then I also realized I have too much ice tackle. So off to Gander I went for a new ice jig box. I love things boxes for holding all my ice jigs.

They’ll look even better tipped with a spike.

I think Blue just likes to admire his gear….not actually use it

Blue were did you get that box. My lures all lay lose in my tray box. Of course when I tip it they all tangle up. I just needs something like that. Also has to be big enough to hold all my stuff.

It’s a Fly Fishing box from Gander Mtn. I take an exacto knife and cut slots in the foam to hold all my ice jigs. It works exceedingly well.

What if I don’t have an “exacto” knife? What else can I use to make those nice unifrom little slots to keep my jigs in pefectly new condition until they are too antique to use?

I would be willing to bet it is the first time them jigs have seen light since you nailed that pig bass on the ice last year

Alright, alright…..I should give some credit to Blue for showing the great idea with the fly box
Mine are also in a couple little tackle boxes all mixed up. Nothing I hate worse than reaching for a certain Lil Cecil and having 5 all tangles up. It takes forever to get them all seperated then you end up putting them all back in the same place just to undo them all again
