Went to a lake east of Amery, Moon Lake and tried for some crappies and finally got into them just before dark, in about 40fow, caught 2 that were 11 inches long then tried to get the lantern lit and wouldn’t light so had to get off the ice, couldn’t see but you bet I’ll be out there tommorrow at dark with high hopes

Got back out to moon last night and the fishing was great, kept 8crappies the biggest being 12 1/2″ one- 12″ the others were 10-11 inches, caught most of them at dark with a glo jig with a minnow at the 40foot mark, did get a few perch but to small, hope to get back out this week.
