Is there ice on the gravel pitts? Lauderdale? Blackdeer? I may have a buddy from high school coming into to town tomorrow and would like to take him to catch some fish and have a good time an tips/reports would be appeciated. I have been fishing camp 22 and keeping pretty much to myself all week so I am kinda out of the loop on other locations.
we checked it out today, and there is a 1 inch glaze 
My son and I stopped at the gravel pit this afternoon to check the ice and there was about 2″. It took me three or four good wacks with the spud to get through. Shore line was a little slushy but the ice felt pretty good overall. Didn’t check Blackdeer but I bet that might be another week. We fished for a few hours at the Sailboat Club with little success, just a few little ones. Hopefully one more night of cold will really firm up the gravel pit for a little early AM fishing.
