My brother and I just got back from spearing up on Andrusia Lake, which flows from to Cass Lake. Saw alot of pike, but most of all had a great 4 days away from everything. Biggest fish was 36 inches, but well worth the time on the ice.

Where has everyone else been spearing?

Excellent! It is nice to see a fellow harpooner on here!!!

Nice fish. Nothing better than sitting there watching the “finlander tv”

I love spearing, its tuff to find something thats even close to it. The thrill of seeing that pike come flying in and hitting decoy, its something that is amazing. Gota love it.

The only thing more thrilling is a muskrat popping up in the hole…

I have had that happen several times – and Brian is 110% correct. Very exciting – especially when you are sitting there calmy with your Black Lab………the calmness disappears instantly!

I had that happen on Christmas day. I about jumped through the roof of the shack. I was a little more calm the second and third time the little guy came to visit.

thats not fun. You have to get out like our group does every year and go to a lake where you know your going to be able to hit the fish hard. Spearing is a fun time, that is when you see fish
