Phalen & Round lakes Sunday ?

    I want to try Round lake in Phalen park on Sunday if the ice is good. Anyone else wanna go ?

    I was thinking about 11 or noon ?

    Buddy was out there for 6 hours today with only 2 perch to show for.

    I love Round. Never ice fished it but it’s where I first got hooked on largemouth fishing. 24 largemouth from shore in 4 hours. It was magical ! I think that number of 24 grows the more years that pass ? Wow, I think I just told a fishing story ! OK maybe it was more like 10 ?

    Plus it was the gateway to lot’s of tackle & gear aquisition over several years that followed ! That part is true ! I have bounced checks to prove it Just ask my wife she’ll tell you !

    I woke up very sick this morning and didnt get out. Slept all morning. I feel much better now. Might try to go this afternoon, not sure yet.
