Our own Bobber here on the site who lives and does reports on Mille Lacs will now be expanding his guide gig out of Hunters Point Resort in the luxury of a Sno-Bear.

Hunters Point made the purchase of the Sno-Bear and have Bob running the wheel. Congratulations Bob. It will be fun seeing how you try to hide in that thing. You can check out more here on Hunters website to see the rig.

That’s kinda spendy for my pocketbook….
Looks like a nice ice rig tho…

    Congrats Bob
I’ve seen those babies up close and they are sweet. I can’t think of anyone better to run it

$975 — it does.. But – 6 meals provided and all the equipment, fish cleaning and packaging. And you fish out of a 35k rig all day with a guide.
take that by 2 with that package. It doesn’t look as bad anymore. Not something you would probably do every weekend though.

Congrats Bobber and Hunter’s Point. I have been going to Hunter’s since it was a little hole in the wall, and now it just continues to grow. George is always on top of things, and looking for ways to improve the resort. I won’t be paying the cash for the service, but I bet there will be plenty of others who will. Maybe a little ride at the GTG could be in order though.

From the webcam it looks like they already have the new toy out on the ice.
