    Ventured out yesterday afternoon for a few hours. There is about 5-8 inches of ice to walk out on. Pulled out the portable and found some real nice panfish. Iced about 30-40 solid sunnies!! Kept enough for a couple of meals. The key was to bounce around hole to hole. Small jigs with euro-larvae worked the best.

    How deep of water were you fishing?? Im hoping to get out there sometime this week.

    We were in 14-16 fow. We didn’t get to stay out past 5 so we didn’t get into the crappies. (Caught a couple just before we had to leave).
