I just bought a mr heater sunburst style heater that attaches to a propane tank. The big buddy heater was easy to transport but not as hot. So, How do you guys/gals store youre heater in your tent when moving spots. It seems as it would be too hot in the tent sled to allow it to touch anything cloth or plastic. Dismantling every time seems cumbersome.

Are you saying the big buddy wasn’t enough to heat your portable??

If I’m planning on moving I shut my heater down first and set it outside, only takes a minute to cool down.

I have my tank in a milk create so is stays atanding up and sturdy. And like was said it cools within a minute of shutting it off. I even shut it off before I start to reel in.
