Thanks guys. No real great story. I had released a 28″ fish about 30 minutes earlier on a spoon – personal best through the ice…..high fives all around – standard behavior

Just as it was dimming a little in the eve – I walked over to jig an outside hole and as I was jigging – I see my tip-up waving at me – a real friendly-like ‘come over here’ type of wave!

I went over and missed a fish I immediately re-baited and re-set it. Well it was re-set just a few seeconds – and I only took two steps when I heard the flag rattle. The swing-arm on a Beaver Dam ‘jingles’ when the flag goes up – music to my ears . A short fight later and had the big one laying at my feet – more high fives….

It was fish number 5 over 25.5″ that day! Good day indeed.

Fishing for crappies and this hit my 4lb line and jig. I might as well enter it. 32.5 inches.

This crappie was just at 13″…(with a closed mouth)
It was a great fish, and awesome watching the fight thru clear ice!

Here’s one for the perch category, I don’t expect it to last long on the board, but it’s still a respectable 11″ caught at sunset this evening.

Here’s an entry for the photo contest. My son Andrew and I went up to to Amery Wi. area and caught these fish, no monsters but some good eaters. We kept these for a meal and threw about the same amount back in a couple hours. We fished with Rat Finkees and waxies in about 13 FOW.
