Getting the boat tuned up and ready to go . Should be a couple more days and the ice will be gone for the season

Opener should be right around the corner .

Could well be a reality here in the SE. As a matter of fact, we were joking about that very topic on the way home from the backwaters this morning.

I just figured that I’d give everyone a place to vent about the weather this year.

All ice in my area has been unsafe since sunday..now, it is gone. I LOVE IT!!!

Well, there is only one thing to do…..HEAD NORTH!! As far north as it takes to have ice…

I’m guessing there will be a lot of houses that never get dragged off dry land this year. Let’s hope it cools wwaayyy down before it snows – hate snow/slush/water/ice out there…

As much as I love open water I still want some ice to remain safe and get thicker so I can ice fish this year. It sure beats the in between stuff of can’t do either very well-ice thats not safe but still blocks putting the boat in the water in different bodies of water.
    Thanks, Bill

Ok, I admit it….it is MY fault.

I bought my ice gear this year, and here we are. Bad or no ice.

    I HATE when this happens.
