    We had 5″-7″ of ice Saturday. Fishing was OK.
    It will not last long with this weather.

    I havent been up there in years ,have they done anything about the weed problem ? last time I was there, the weeds were so bad you had to fish the middle of the lake.

    Weeds might be an issue early in the summer.Seems like the size of the panfish increased since the Crappie kill.Looks as if people were hitting it pretty hard during the open water season this year.
