On Sunday a couple buddies and myself had the chance to go out on to the backwaters of pool 4 and get some early ice fishing in. The crowd of people were there but we went away from the crowd and did just fine. Bass were caught on tip ups and the blue gills on a ratso. We probably caught around 60 gills but nothing worth keeping. Average size was what you see in the pic. We aslo manged one 28 inch pike, but being a bass guy he wasn’t worth posting. All the fish were caught in 6 ft of water or less. Shallowest fish caught was in 3 1/2 ft. All fish were released to fight another day. Good luck and be safe w/ the changing ice conditions this week.

Sorry I can’t get the other pics as large as the first. I don’t know what happened.

Just a local we picked up at the bait shop. He doesn’t have too many friends!
