“pounders” ?????

Looking for a panfish jig called the “pounder”. I can’t find them anymore. The word is that they are out of business. Please help!

They are made by Lindy. The Genz Worm, Fatboy and Pounders. I am not sure if they still make the pounder or not, I have not checked. If you can’t find them, Marmooska’s work petty good also.

Thanks Scott, I went to their web-site and checked. I didn’t find any. Ebay had some, but you have to buy them in kit just to get a couple. I will just keep visiting all the Mom and Pop tackle shops till I find some.

There are lots around yet. The Fatboys work just as well in my opinion.

I have lots of frosties, fatboys, genz worms. I have never been one to care to much about color or lure shape while icefishing for panfish. But my buddy out fished me 10 crappies to one last Thursday using a pounder. I was able get a lot of lookers but they wouldn’t commit. He had more lookers than biters too, but he could get them to commit at a better ratio.

Found some pounders at Outdoor Allure in Northern Wisconsin. I nearly bought him out. He still has some left in pink and white size 12. He will mail order too.
