Reel weed legal

I am wondering is it legal to use reel weed in wisconsin

but really is it legal in wisconsin to use the new la dredge reel weeds or SOS. If it is i would like to pick up a box and try it out…

I’m not sure if you’re asking about using “REAL” Weed, which is not legel in the US…that I know of…or REEL WEEDS…which is perfectly legel to use as long as it’s taken home with you. Otherwise it’s concidered littering.

Sure its legal. TIs legal as long as you pick them up and take them with you when you leave. The minute you leave them in the water and leave is when they became illegal. Just leaving anything in the water or on the ice is illegal. Give em a shot,…you’ll be suprised after a season of using them,

nope BK i was kidding. thats good to know i wasn’t sure on the regulations of the SOS, I didn’t know if we could legally do that hear in wisconsin, our DNR is kind of picky. while i am asking ???’s i have one more. when you turn 16 in wisconsin can you fish without a liscense until march 31 without a liscense or do you have to buy one on your 16th birthday? i already bought one but i am just curious?

Hey Bassking- I was suckered (just kidding BK) by Brian at the Ice show in St. Paul into his “realweeds” I have used them once and they worked. As soon as you turn 16 you need to have a license in posession to fish legally.
