Took a drive by Prior,O’dowd,and Spring lake. Saw portables on all three. Talked to a guy coming off of O’dowd with a chisel and he said the ice was 4-6 most places he went. Still some open water on the main part of Prior. see ya out there–SOON! D. 
Just sent “The Office” (name of our permanent shack) up (from Rochester) back up to Prior on the trailer with my buddy. Hoping to get out there soon. Still some open huh? That is no good with the weather that is on the way (more warm stuff the way it looks)…Might be after x-mas before we get it out there 
ice is growing fast, two days ago I could see lots of open water from the cr21 bridge, today it was much better. Bays and water out of the wind seemed to have good ice. I didn’t venture out but could see portables and old holes.
