Perch fishing

    hey, i was wondering if anybody knows of a great place to get some perch. i am a new ice fisherman and know very little about ice fishing. please help me out if you could.

    mille lacs is a good choice for perch just watch out if u go there this weekend ice might not be safe in many areas yet. Also who has been ice fishing in the north metro maple grove/anoka area was woundering what the ice thikness is in the area ?

    Welcome to the site Peng-
    Mille Lacs and Winni are great spots for Jumbos.
    Mille Lacs will put out some nice perch this year with the some great strong class of fish upon us.

    South Dakota has huge perch and is doesn’t take any longer to get to than Winni or Red! WAY LESS PEOPLE, too!
