I have been hearing reports of 6-8 inches of ice on these lakes this week.

So how was the fishing? Vick… don’t make me call the store. You know I’m just going to pretend to be some guy from out of state wanting to know if the ramps at Everts are in good shape.

Those lakes bring back memories, haven’t fished them since the sixties. My uncle lived in Duluth.

You know me….I never get to go fishing! I just get to hear about everybody elses trips. A handful of walleye on Island…small for the most part. Crappies on Fish lake and some walleye on Boulder. Maybe somebody here can pipe in with some firsthand info! I see the Duluth harbor/St. Louis River is froze except for the channel, that is still open. This warm weather on the way should keep the river open for awhile.
