Ice Tournament Update

    The season is upon us!!! We will be doing the ice tournament again this year!!! MarCum has graciously donated a MarCum LX-2 to be a top prize this year for the IDA 2ND Annual Ice Tournament!!! Thank-you MarCum!!! We are also having other prizes..I just need to round them up.

    This post will be used for the official sign up sheet. Post under this thread to get your name in and be “officially registered”…Replying under this thread, will also enter you in for a random prize drawing!!

    Luke, for some of us new kids on the block, do you have any details about the ice tourney. Dates, times, location, rules, costs???

    I am sure Luke will have a post regarding this info soon, but for the meantime this is what happened last year!!!
    You have to just catch a fish in which you think is worthy of an entry as far as biggest length goes…We will post an IDA decal that must be included with the picture of a fish along with the photo must contain a ruler in which to show the fish length. Thats all! All other state fishing regulations must also apply as well….
    IDA will be announcing the dates of the tourney along with an updates on the leader board…

    Im in for sure I had a ball with this last year. I just never found the big fish that I was looknig for. But hopefully this year will be different.

    Also, sledhead dosen’t check here often but I know that he wants to take part too.

    Ok Guys here is the scoop. The official tournament will start on Wednesday the 13th. This is when the Decal will be available for everyone to print off. Rules this year, will have to be followed to a T…I don’t want anyone to be upset, but this is a free tournament, so there will be no exceptions.

    Official rules to be posted the night before the tournament starts!!

    Like, I early stated, one of the top prizes will be a MarCum LX-2 Flasher. Dean at Everts Resort, has also donated two prizes. One will be a St. Croix Legend Ice Rod, and also a Premier Combo Ice setup!!!

    Gary has donated a $50 gift certificate to the IDA sponsor of your choice!!

    Dave/BFT is donating a sweet Ice Fishing tackle kit!!!

    Guys there are some great prizes this year…so get your name in the hat…

    How long does this last and where can/does it take place? I’m TOTALLY new to it … so I suppose I should go do some research, but a cliff notes version would be helpful!

    It is open to anyone registered on IDA…on any lake. Once it starts it will probably run 2-3 months. So there is PLENTY of time!!!
    Just take a look at last years Ice tournament forum..
