Fish House Permit/License?

    Does Wisconsin require a permit or license on a fish house?
    If so, are they available on line? Thanks.

    You just have to have a name and address on the house.

    No, Wisconsin doesn’t charge you to carry a piece of fabric out on the ice like the great state of MN does. I’m suprised MN doesn’t require a house permit for wearing a jacket out there. Not a whole lot of difference……..

    I thought Minnesotans had to have a non resident shelter tag in Wisconsin now?

    Nope just name and address printin legibly in English. Someone floated the idea of permits last year but it didn’t go anywhere.

    BTW-they’ve been known to ticket folks for sitting in the car and watching tipups…..true

    That’s why we have antennas on the cars… to hang your tag from. Seriously, I used to do it in my tipin days.

    But, I too thought NON-residents had to buy a tag in Wisc.
