Well I went out ice hunting tonight. My first ice lake around has 3 inches of solid ice. If I wasn’t working the ice show in Saint Paul Fri through Sunday, I’d be fishing!
I’m not saying its safe by any means, but I’d be fishing tomorrow.
Keep an eye on your lakes men, just a few more days.

Not fair…I only have three inches on my trucks- from last nights freezing rain. We have the right temps..but those 25 mph winds are AWESOME!!! I LOVE WIND!!!

I just checked a small lake by St Paul. Its close but not quite there yet. I could walk on it but she cracked bad. Hoping by Sunday. Next week for sure.
