A new buddy of mine makes these patented auger racks. They are bulletproof and affordable. He makes a clamp on system and also does custom work as well.

Extreme fishing. Crossing breakers, putting on 15-20 miles a trip.
When Derek get’s too close while following me around on Mille Lacs I might have too fire off acouple rounds at him!!!
just kidding!!
They look like a nice rack, how much?
Bobber, I would imagine the SkiDoo models are more, what with the repairs that will naturally be needed for SkiDoo…

Nothing beats a Rotax baby.
Bob, the new Stealth STX is going to rip some ice..
Nice set up Derek.
I kicked the idea around about building a rack for my auger.
Between my cargo rack, gear in it and my big buttocks I figure thats enough weight on the back of the sled.
Here is a pick of the cargo rack i built for my sled.
The vex, a lantern, minnow box and my rod case get strapped in it.
Derek,
You have to use the Jiffy. It matches your sled. You’ve got it looking real sharp. You should buy some of those handlebar gloves that mount directly to your handlebars. The low windshield and the high speed of the Rotax powerplant will cool your hands off in a hurry. Plus the handwarmers on the ski-doos don’t really get too hot.

Nice box Craig
MM- prelimary use of the hand warmer have almost burnt my hands. I’ll have to see when its below zero.
I use the Mad Dog ATV rifle holder. They have rubber pads on the inside so your auger shaf doesn’t get all scratched up. Once you slide the auger in those, it isn’t going anywhere.
Gregs racks also use rubber and a piston shock absorber system.
I’m not going to ask what Scott has…
Derek, it looks like that rack doesn’t support the powerhead…is it just the picture?

Derek has a nice rack and Craig has a nice box.
Thanks.. 36DD
The auger is evenly distributed where the two V pads hold the auger. The rack could probably hold over 150 pounds so a 30 pound auger doesn’t even make it flinch.
Also, The gearbox and drill out weigh the powerhead..
I also offer custom welding services for any ideas you may have. I can also make extended rear bars with storage/cargo areas. Trying to get a little business so I can have one of these neat little advertisements we see on the side.
someone… throw me a bone.
