Colder Weather Coming

A fifteen-day forecast isn’t worth a lot, but according to the one I just checked today there is some cold air coming in to the upper Midwest after this weekend. Temps in southeast Minnesota are supposed to be around freezing during the day, and down around ten to fifteen at night.

It may not be the single-digit weather I’d like to see this time of year, but IF that forecast is close to being right it is still ice-making weather. It would be nice not to wait until almost Christmas for good ice this year. Maybe I’ll get some early December hard-water fishing in around my current residence in Iowa City…

I was just over to visit my mother and talked with an older fellow that said that we were in for a big weather change! I said why is that, he said he was a trapper and that the animals were telling him that in thier habits? Well we will see who is right with this forecast…….I just hope for this colder weather ……..we need some ice on the lakes

It sounds kinda silly but up here we watch what the weather in Alaska is doing….It usually takes 4-6 days for us to get their conditions and in this case I’m hoping so.

They have had 15 below up there for almost a week now.

We could use that….lots of cold no snow yet…That would be ideal
