South West Wisconsin pan fish

    Just looking for good gill,perch ice around my home. Wisconsin river, black hawk, Gov. Dodge, etc. Anyone have any good ideas were a guy can get into first ice fish?

    Blackhawk lake is awesome early ice and a great place to try out that new flasher. The river bottoms around Prairie are great too. Give Dave Koonce a shout. His handle is ecnook and he takes people out there. I haven’t fished Govenor Dodge but I imagine that is good too. The Madison chain isn’t too far. Waubesa is usually hot on early ice.

    witrh the weather we have been having it will be some time before we get any first ice going on…I will be checking ice/water temps and conditions weekely here around the PdC area and when it starts getting close I will let you guys know and keep an up todate ice info posted…

    but until then get your rigs out and catch some of the great walleye and sauger action that is going on…P9 and 10 i hear that dragging your jigs in the rocks should put some fish in your boat !!!
