    Truth is…I didn’t have mine along…

But I know where it’s at! There were 6 holes in the ice, two were closer together than the rest…and there were some cigarette butts by one of them. No problem!

It was A LOT of work finding that spot!

Its amazing how one can drill 100 holes over the course of several days and find a 20′ radious that just keeps producing fish… for no apperant reason.

I can probably drive right to it with my eyes closed.. I’m not too concerned… but I know Pier will be sneaking out there and I will run into him there sometime or another!

Cletus…you and I will have to team up to cover Mike…since he guides in the area…seems only fair.

Mike, if you need a partner to combat these two let me know. I should get out there a few times before the event.

    Bigfife,

We’ll put the hurt on them!

I might even shave to avoid BK getting excited and hooking me when he sees whiskers.

Yes Brian.. I’ll do my part in finding some fish before the gathering for us.. I need somebody near by to take care of a few pesky sunfish!

After you guys are done fishing their won’t be a rough fish left in the lake.

I don’t feel right because the playing field is so uneven. Mike and I have such superior panfishing abilities. Here’s a hint to get you guys started in the right direction: Leave the stink bait at home and try to scrub it out of your hands before you get there. Myself and the fish will be much happier.

I should hopefully be able to make this, we’ll see when the time is closer, I’ll bring some food to share too.

Its getting deep in here! * insert smiley with shovel here *

Never under-estimte a catfisherman! (except for Brian on occasion)… We always keep up on our bait fishing skills and are extremely efficient so it doesnt cut into the catfishing time!

I’ll have to see if I can make this one. Too bad we weren’t going a little further up 65 to Knife. I might actually be able to pay back some guys with my info on that lake. Maybe we can get a game of boot hockey going on the side.

I hope you can make it up there Aqua Joe!

I’ll be there. I will bring a grill if we can drive vehicles out. I can also do a big pan of Cheesy Potato’s.

I’ll be driving something out… truck or 4 wheeler. If you need anything hauled(same for everyone), let me know.. I usually pull my trailer around(4×8).

I was fishing on 7″ of ice this evening on a minneapolis lake.. I really doubt there will be thin ice for this event.

I’m thinking if the weather holds up, the worst case would be that we use wheelers and trailers for moveing people and portables. Looken pretty good!

Thanks for bringing that up TrackenCats.

This is a great get together for bringing the whole family! Close by and if the kids get cold it’s not too far from the heat…although if this ice stays on track, there’ll be enough portables out there to warm up in.

Thanks Shane! See you all out there…

PS I can use some more help to kick Finkes butt.
