This was at an ice fishing tourney last year….a week after my son dislocated his elbow in a wrestling tournament….Didn’t catch anything, but was one of my life’s memories…on the ice with my son (one armed bandit fishing as his arm was in a sling under his jacket)

I like this picture, Tip up fishing on Lake onalaska, March 3, 2003. Can you believe we drove out there in march? I wish we coulda had that much ice last year! anyway, We saw some hogs (bass) get iced that day. I was lucky enough to get one, but this was probably one of the smallest i saw caught.

This is also a great memory for me. My biggest walleye to date. This fish was 7-9 weighed on a digital scale. The pic was actually taken by Natureboy, who was a complete stranger to me (pic taken in 2003 before i knew about indepthangling) and I later found out that it was him that took the pic. I caught this fish on a tip up at shady maple while fishing for perch. That was one of the best days of ice fishing I remember. The flags were flying for jumbo perch and we hammered them on jig rods too. The walleye was the silver lining. What a day it was.
