Bret, just talked to my outfitter, in northern Manitoba, where we are heading in a month for some eyes and monster pike and he said, “good news, the ice went out last week” !!! This is about 2 weeks earlier than normal for there !!!

    Brett,
Do I hear a ‘Have Marcum will travel’ ?
There’s gotta be ice somewhere. Maybe in the bottom of the glass, but somewhere

I have been enjoying the LX-5 in the boat, but it’s just not the same.

I hear ya with the ice, the wife got PO’d when I tried to walk on my iced down Captain the other day

Only you Bret could make a post in the Ice Fishing Forum…..in MAY
I love ice, but I also need a few months of open water to chase all the other critters in the sea

Put enough Captain Morgan in with some coke and add plenty of ice and it will feel like you were ice fishing!!

I remember this day being so cold, I had a hard time getting propane lit

Mike C and a friend Steve braved it out with me. We had a nice fish fry and off the ice early that day
