Lake Wissota Ice

The ice is out in the Yellow River area in the channel and under the X bridge. Won’t be long before I can get the boat out for some crappie action.

Saaaaaaaaaaaawwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttt!!! I was just about to send you a PM to look out your window. I’m thinking that this weekend will be the first Wissota crappie trip of the year, at least in the yellow river arm and perhaps on the little lake too, if this wind keeps up. One more super option becomes available if the big lake opens up too, at least on the north end.

I think my whole bay will be open by the weekend.

I should get the boat out early next week.

I may have to drive up tonight after dinner to get the lay of the land (water). This getting-dark-at-8:00 stuff makes it easier to run around a bit afgter dinner!
