Heading to Hill City this weekend. Going to use the Hotel as “base camp”. Hotel owner said that the crappies were biting right outside his resort, on Hill Lake. But also heard that the crappies there run on the small to smaller side. Anybody know the truth? Also, probably heading to Red for a day. But I will have another day to scope out some new water in the area. Anybody have any suggestions? Rumors? Don’t plan on hitting Winnie, unless I hear of some better news than what I have been. Thanks in advance for the info.
