How much ice is needed to drive on? HELP……..

    I want to drive a single axil dump truck with 7 tons of sand on the lake. There is @ 13 inches of ice. Will this be a problem?

    Yes, that is a problem. Definatley DO NOT. You need 24 + inches for that much weight IMO. What is the sand for?

    IMHO you need twice as much Ice as you have. I won’t even drive my pickup on that amout of ice but that’s just me(I need 20″) If you decide to go for it I’d like to come out with video camera in hand to watch.
